WHAT I DO
Sixes Eyesa "Wormy Dog"
Wormy Dog was purchased out of the 6666's Remuda Sale in 2014. He had been part of the Road to the Horse Remuda & after having helped produce the event, held a special place in my heart. At RTTH, he was not chosen in the event, so he was broke to ride in the middle of his 3 year old year. He has not been an easy horse by any means but shows lots of promise & athletic ability. Has clocked 1-2D so far and has a bright future. PEDIGREE.
Joyces Rose Nocredit "JJ"
JJ is owned by Alma Lee Land & Cattle. He was broke to ride at the end of his 4 year old year in 2015 & was running 1-2D times within 6 months of being under saddle. He is by Bugemforcash & out of Hollys Yellow Rose. Currently out with an injury, I will be happy to get JJ back in the trailer.
Famous Fire Rocks "Rocky"
Rocky is owned by Alma Lee Land & Cattle as well. Got a late start & is a green 2017 Futurity horse. He has clocked 1-2D & is just continuing to figure it out. He is by Firewaterontherocks & out of a grandaugter of Dash Ta Fame. PEDIGREE
Dena Dena Bo Bena - "Dena"
Dena was born May 2014 on Kentucky Derby Day. By Bugemforcash & out of Shez A Rebel Doctor (Zena).
She is currently being ridden under saddle & being started on the barrels. She is type of filly that makes people think breaking colts is easy!
Shez A Rebel Doctor "Zena"
Zena is by Nick Bars Viper out of A Goin Boone. She was the first horse my mother and I raised. 1D barrel horse and has one filly, Dena Dena Bo Bena in 2014. She is currently bred to Repete Offender for a April 2017 foal.
Freckles Dash King "Bearly"
I purchased Bearly off of Craigslist after being snowed & iced in for over a week Jan 2015. I really liked her breeding & how she was made. She was being used in NM for Bear & Elk Hunts and was a pack horse! She was bred too good to be that, so off to Texas she went. She is currently bred to Aspecial Firewater for a March 2017 foal.
Glorious Cowboy "Elby"
Elby was an athletic freak. He was purchased at 12 yrs old as a reject heading horse & in 3 months was winning at WPRA rodeos. He won & placed at some of the biggest rodeos in the US from Greeley CO, Clovis CA, Red Bluff CA, Redding CA, Denver, CO, Pueblo CO, Sisters OR, & many others. He was an delight to have in the rig & was the fastest & most unbroke horse I have ever ridden. He won because he tried for me. I wish they were all this easy. PEDIGREE
Not Your Countrygirl "Country"
Country could do anything, from barrel racing, pole bending, roping, to pulling a wagon. She went from being a Wisconsin Play Day mare to a WPRA Rodeo winner. We won Auburn CA, Mesquite TX (multiple times), Hawley MN, Merrill WI, Dade City FL & placed at OKC, Santa Maria Ca, Perry GA, Loveland CO, Glen Rose TX, Lake Charles LA, Lafayette LA, & more. I miss the ol lady everyday. PEDIGREE
Mels Streak of Hope "Jr Bonner"
Mels Streak of Hope was bred by Melanie Halbert & Denise Palmer, by Hope it Happens & out of the big time producing mare Trendy, He was born for great things. He could win with anyone on any given day.
Heza Brisco "Biscuit"
Biscuit was purchased from Betty Breaux Muzio & was a heading horse. He took to rodeos pretty well and was one of the fastest horses I have ever ridden. By Brisco County Jr (the number one futurity barrel stallion in Brazil owned by Beto Orsi) & out of On a High daughter. PEDIGREE
Marthas Six Shooter "Billy"
Billy's an own son of Marthas Six Moons out of a Truckle Feature daughter bred by LuAnn Bradley Johnson. He took to rodeos really well placing at the first 3 I took him too. Super easy to ride & sweet, he is now winning for his rider in Montana. PEDIGREE

Growing up, rodeo & ranching blood ran deep with Tara's grandfather Rex Beck being an NFR Qualifier. Growing up running barrels & roping, her mother Jan, always made sure that horsemanship was under constant vigilance taking her to ride with Wanda Bush any chance they got. Being friends with Buster & Sheila Welch's grandaughter, led to showing cutting horses for several years. College rodeoing came next, & then onto the WPRA circuit with her horses Elby & Country. When not on the road she began working with Ride the Remuda Productions helping produce Road to the Horse, Project Cowboy, & a few shows on RFDTV. Thats when she realized she loved event production & marketing.
Moving on from there she has since worked
with Diamonds & Dirt, Jud Little Ranch, Med Vet Pharmaceuticals, United Vet Equine, & many others. Currently, she trains & manages barrel horses at Alma Lee Land & Cattle in Athens, TX. She gets her media and marketing fix by working with Pete Carr Pro Rodeo & Red Bluff Roundup with their social media & advertising. Between horses, dogs, creating media, her apparel company Rodeo Ragged, & pottery she stays pretty busy.
